rosie and jamie enjoying siargao, philippines

Why did we move to Siargao?

Hey, I’m Rosie!

In September 2022, my partner Jamie and I arrived in Siargao from London.

Why Siargao?

Jamie, who is half British/half Filipino, his Mum is from this island and he had always seen it as a backup if things go tits up in the UK.

We originally planned to have a year out, but here we still are.

I’ve created Rosie Recommends as a platform to share my recommendations for making the most out of your time here in Siargao.

It’s not the easiest/cheapest island to get to and it would be great to save people some time on endless research so that they can enjoy what they have come here for!
